Worlds In Ink
Write your own worlds. Collect symbol pages, bind them into Descriptive Books and link into ages shaped by what you write: terrain, biomes, sky and weather. Build crystal portals of any size, craft linking books home and furnish your study.

Linking Books
- Craft a link panel page and leather (shapeless) to get an Unlinked Link Book.
- Right-click it and it becomes a Linking Book that returns to the exact place it was bound.
Shapeless: the ingredients can go anywhere in the grid.
Using a book
Open the book and click the panel on the right page. The panel shows:
- blue when the destination has been visited
- black when it hasn't
- greyed out when the link isn't allowed
A linking book can't take you to the dimension you're already in, unless its panel has Intra-Linking.
Sharing books
Books can be placed on a Lectern or Bookstand for anyone to read and use, or dropped on the ground. The destination's name can show above them (a configuration option).
Link panels
Link panels are made at the Ink Mixer from ink and paper, or bought from Archivists. A Descriptive Book needs one as its first page.
Link effects
Link panels can carry effects, added by the Ink Mixer:
| Intra-Linking | Can link within the same dimension. |
| Intra-Linking Only | Can only link within the same dimension. |
| Disarm | You drop your items when you link. |
| Maintain Momentum | You keep your speed through the link. |
| Generate Platform | Places a stone block under you if you arrive over air. |
| Relative Link | Lands you at the same offset from spawn as where you left. Never sold by Archivists. |
